EltaMD UV Facial Broad-Spectrum SPF 35 is a creamy, moisturizing sunscreen for dry, dehydrated and mature skin. It pairs transparent zinc oxide with octinoxate for broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection, and carries hyaluronic acid to hold moisture in the skin along with vitamin E to work on free radicals. The texture is rich rather than sheer, which is what makes it suit skin that feels tight by midday. EltaMD now sells this formula under the name UV Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 35.

Key Benefits

Hyaluronic acid holds moisture in the upper layers, so skin stays comfortable through the day rather than tightening by afternoon.
Vitamin E works on the free radicals that UV exposure generates.
Transparent zinc oxide carries part of the protection and octinoxate handles UVB, which keeps the texture creamy without a mineral drag.
Rich enough to stand in for a morning moisturizer on dry skin, so the routine loses a step.
Hypoallergenic and dermatologist tested, made for skin that reacts to fragrance and dyes.
EltaMD lists it for the entire body, so one tube covers face, neck and chest.
